About Hazar
I am interested in the teaching position, bringing with me more than seven years of experience in computer science education, programming instruction, and student-centered learning. Throughout my career at Al-Baath University in Syria, as well as through my online teaching work on the Mostaql platform, I have developed a strong ability to teach complex technical concepts in a simple, engaging, and age-appropriate way. From 2014 to 2021, I taught a wide range of university-level courses including Multimedia Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science I & II, and ICDL fundamentals across multiple engineering faculties. This experience strengthened my ability to adapt lessons to different learning levels, academic backgrounds, and student needs. In parallel, I delivered customized Scratch programming lessons to children online, helping young learners build algorithmic thinking, logic, and step-by-step problem-solving skills through visual coding. My teaching approach blends creativity with structure. I design lessons that encourage exploration while ensuring students develop strong foundations in programming fundamentals such as Python basics, loops, variables, and functions. I also support students in mathematics—arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and word problems—helping them connect logical reasoning with real-world applications. Additionally, I place strong emphasis on improving students’ English reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills, as these are essential for success in both academic and technical fields.
