About Sammy
Educated in China, the UK, and France, bilingual in English and Mandarin, and with a personal
and professional life straddling Europe and Asia, Sammy currently serves as the Asia Ambassador for Debrett’s, the
authority on etiquette and leads on the development and delivery of their Asia projects. He is well-
informed in business etiquette and Sino-British cultural exchange, and has been developing and
delivering corporate programs on interpersonal skills across different industries. He also
possesses strong interest in empowering the rising generation, and has pioneered different
inspirational and experiential learning methods for youngsters.
He has also advised governments and their development partners on the role of tourism
and culture in the delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Recent clients have
included the World Bank and Asian Development Bank, the governments of Uzbekistan,
Tajikistan, and Georgia, as well as the Royal Institute of British Architects.

I employ a coaching approach in my lessons to encourage and facilitate self-reflection and self-learning, through scenario play, real life application and learning discussions.
