About Aileen
I am a singing teacher with 12 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. My teaching approach blends strong technical training with creativity and expression. I work across multiple genres including jazz, pop, classical, and contemporary styles. I also guide students in music theory so they understand what they are singing, not just how to sing it. Improvisation is an important part of my lessons, especially for developing freedom and confidence in vocal performance. I focus on harmony training to help students sing in groups and understand layered vocal arrangements. Listening skills are strengthened through structured exercises that improve pitch, rhythm, and musical awareness. Every student receives personalised coaching based on their voice type, goals, and learning pace. I place equal importance on vocal technique and emotional expression to create balanced performers. My lessons encourage students to explore their individuality while building strong fundamentals. I believe that singing becomes powerful when technique and feeling work together naturally. My goal is to help each student grow into a confident and expressive performer with a deep understanding of music.

My singing lessons approach focuses on building strong vocal control, emotional expression, and confident performance for every learner. I begin with pitch perfection training using simple vocal exercises that strengthen listening and accuracy. Breathing techniques and posture work are introduced early to support stable and healthy singing. For beginners, I use easy songs that build comfort and remove fear of singing out loud. For more advanced learners, I introduce challenging pieces that improve range, control, and musical expression. Different styles like classical, pop, jazz, and folk are used to expand musical understanding and flexibility. Each style helps develop a unique aspect of vocal technique and artistry. I place strong emphasis on expressiveness so students learn to connect emotion with their voice. Confidence building is integrated into every session through guided practice and performance practice. I also use modern tools like recording software to help students hear their own progress clearly. Ear training apps are used to improve pitch recognition and musical awareness outside lessons. Pitch correction tools are used as a learning guide, not a shortcut, to refine accuracy. Students receive structured feedback based on recordings so improvement becomes visible and motivating. My goal is to help every learner find their true voice and perform with confidence and joy.
