I am a professor of Medicine (including respiratory disorders), with over three decades of experience. I have made significant contributions to medical teaching as a postgraduate teacher/examiner, contributing author to medical books and peer reviewer for medical publications for over 20 years.

Teaching methodology includes class room discussion of topics, group tutorials and discussion of clinical problems at the bed side. Students are expected to acquire a basic knowledge on the topic ahead and contribute to active learning by their participation. Audiovisual and interactive presentations are included. Periodic assessment and feed back on the student's performance as well as the effectiveness of the teaching sessions too are essential for successful learning.
