About Port
I’m a Python tutor with 6+ years of experience and an MSc in Actuarial Science. Over the years, I’ve led coding workshops and mentored students preparing for competitive programming and technical interviews. For students with an interest in computer science, I also guide them through discrete math concepts and how they relate to Python logic. My explanations often use analogies from everyday life or digital applications to keep things simple and relatable.
I work especially well with Architect and Proof Seeker personas, helping them think critically, plan effectively, and communicate their code comfortably. Lessons include hands-on coding, small projects, and interactive problem sets that make concepts stick. I also place emphasis on clean code practices and debugging strategies.
