About Ashley
During your first session, we will assess your current comfort level with basic vocabulary and pronunciation. We focus on business Spanish, everyday phrases, and grammar construction to ensure you have a solid foundation for travel or immigration.
My 13 years of experience as an educator allow me to break down complex verb conjugations into manageable segments. We will practice reading comprehension and listen to authentic accents to improve your ear. Weekly conversation practice recordings are reviewed together to track your unique rhythm and intonation patterns.
This cycle of speaking and listening forms the bulk of our time. I bring my degree-level discipline to ensure we hit your specific targets.
You will find that our sessions emphasize clarity in both professional and social settings. I plan to keep our pace consistent so you never feel overwhelmed by the material. We will build your confidence through steady, iterative practice.

Language is a living, breathing entity. Growing up with the sounds of bolero and flamenco gave me a deep appreciation for the cadence of speech. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music, which actually makes me a better language tutor because I hear phonetics like notes.
