About Mercer
I have a BFA in Jazz & Contemporary music from The New School, where I studied Jazz Piano, and am actively performing and recording as a musical artist. Places I have performed include: Smalls Jazz Club, Public Records, Williamsburg Music Center, and Shapeshifter Lab. I've also received instruction from numerous jazz masters, including Reggie Workman, Joanne Brackeen, Aaron Goldberg and Fabian Almazan.

We'll work together to get you playing whatever kind of music calls to you. First lesson is offered free of charge, and then it's $50-$100, sliding scale.
I invite people to work on fun, challenging songs and exercises of their choosing that will get them to the next level. I believe developing the abilities you want to at any instrument is a simple matter of finding the right tools and using them. That's what I'm here to help with!
