About Cassius
I love teaching and helping others learn, often being the first person that many of my peers go to whenever they don't understand something in both college and secondary, and thus I have earned lots of experience teaching many different people, with many different learning styles. Teaching my younger cousins and brother has shown me that I really enjoy passing down the knowledge that I have gained onto others, finding a great sense of achievement when those I have taught succeed, and thus I will work my very best to ensure that they do.

My main goal with any lesson is for the student to be able to work out and understand the concepts that they are being taught, rather than me simply telling them. This can be done through visualisation, cause and effect thinking and gentle explanation, allowing the student to develop a deep comprehension and knowledge of the concept they may have been struggling with.
A typical lesson will start with breaking a concept down to a level which the student intuitively understands. I will then guide them through rebuilding the concept from this established base. Then they will take this new found knowledge to real exam questions, hand picked to the appropriate level for the student.
Finally, I will have a discussion with the student about what they want to learn in the next lesson, and what other concepts they have been struggling with. This allows me to plan out and structure following lessons in a way that the student will learn best.

We highly recommend Cass as a maths Tutor. Cass is able to engage students and offer key skills in working out Mathematical equations. Marking it easy for them to understand and enjoy the sessions. Cassius is very clear and patient at explaining and good at listening to students who are experiencing difficulties in areas of maths. Would recommend book in big Cass especially for GCSE syllabus.
