About Talon
Hey everyone! I'm Talon, a year 10 student at Melbourne High School (one of Victoria's top selective entry schools, ranked #2). I'm a firm believer that ANYONE can do well, as long as they have the right help - and I'd love to be that helping hand for you! I'm calm, easy to talk to, and great at breaking things down step-by-step.
Qualifications:
- Previous student in the Gifted Academic Potential Program at Box Hill High School
- Student at MHS (4x superiors, A to A+ grades)
- 10+ distinction awards (top 10% state/national)
Experience:

Talon has been tutoring my daughter on maths. He's been great at breaking down concepts and builds up her confidence with the basics before increasing the difficulty. He has excellent understanding of the material being taught and is driven to see the student succeed.
Talon is a very professional person, and as one of his classmates I look up to him greatly. He has carried me through heaps of math related questions and test practice. You are guaranteed to learn while having fun with him.
In 2023, I tried out for the selective entry schools test alongside Talon. I struggled quite a bit, but he kept me motivated and focused when we were studying, making sure it was always fun and enjoyable. I definitely recommend him as a teacher for anyone.
Talon is an amazing teacher. He once taught me in our math class when I was struggling with statistics and probability. He simplified things and taught in a style I understood - 10/10!
