About Reese
Hi! My name is Reese, and I am a high school senior who has successfully completed Honors English courses throughout all four years of high school. I have developed strong skills in essay writing, literary analysis, grammar, reading comprehension, and academic writing.
I am reliable, patient, and committed to helping students reach their goals. I understand that every student learns differently, and I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I want to help students build confidence in their English skills.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and personalization. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to match each student's needs and goals. Rather than simply giving answers, I guide students through the thought process so they can develop stronger reading, writing, grammar, and critical thinking skills on their own.
A typical lesson begins with identifying the student's current challenges and goals. From there, we work through practice exercises, assignments, essays, reading passages, or class materials together. I provide clear explanations, constructive feedback, and strategies that students can continue using independently. I also help students with essay organization, thesis development, grammar, proofreading, literary analysis, and reading comprehension.
What sets me apart is that I recently completed the same coursework many middle and high school students are taking now. Because of this, I can relate to the challenges students face and explain concepts in a way that is easy to understand. My experience in Honors English classes has given me strong writing and analytical skills that I am excited to share with others.
My lessons are ideal for middle school and high school students who want extra support in English, improve their grades, strengthen their writing skills, prepare for assignments and exams, or build confidence in reading and literature analysis.
