I have dedicated the entirety of my education into advancing STEM and becoming a physician. I truly believe in the value of education and learning the "why," rather than meaningless numbers and calculations. I will readily engage with students who are just as passionate to advance their careers and make their mark in this world.

I focus my lessons on learning the concept behind mathematic skills so that a student can absorb the material, retain it over time, and apply it to a wide-spread array of problem sets and real-life applications. I will use different teaching practices such as timed practice sets, active recall, and encouraging class participation. My major will be in biology, and I am very familiar with science-based mathematics as well (i.e. stoichiometry.) My lessons consist of going over the initial proofs or theorems that explain why a concept exists, then incorporating that into different problem sets that will usually be AP exam oriented. I believe that I have a holistic and well-rounded approach to education; I understand the importance of college admissions and standardized testing, but I will also teach my students skills that are useful in navigating academics in general. I aim to teach middle and high school students looking to involve themselves in the STEM field.
