About Hugh
I have had a passion for the sciences since I was a kid. I used to research cancer treatments, made all types of random medicinal mixtures, and researched ways to help my family with their own health needs. Now that I am an adult, I understand how biological, and chemical processes work, and even with my new knowledge, that same passion for the sciences has never wavered. I aced every test in Advanced Biology my freshman year, and did the same in Advanced Chemistry the following year. I even began my own independent study sophomore year to research Nutritional Biochemistry, by studying a college textbook on clinical nutrition in accordance with my teacher. I presented on my findings at the end of the year to teachers who were interested in learning from me. I excelled in AP Biology this year and was nominated to work at the Penn Research lab with 2 other students in the summer on mRNA vaccines. Next year I’ll be taking 2 science courses and do another independent study on Genetics. It’s safe to say that my passion for the sciences are unmatched, and that same enthusiasm is what your kid will get every session they work with me.

My name is Hugh Maley. I am a High School Student from Penn Charter, looking to major in biochemistry, and interning at University of Penn research lab for mRNA vaccines. As a high schooler, I can aptly teach any subject in biology, or chemistry to your child, in a fun, understandable, and engaging way. I can personalize each lesson to what your child wants to learn about, and what your child may be learning in their own school.
