About Hakshara
Hi! I'm a 14-year-old 9th grader with a passion for teaching and reading. I’ve consistently earned A+ on my essays and assignments in English Language Arts, and I love helping others improve their writing and reading skills. As the secretary of my school's NJHS program, I'm used to organizing information and communicating effectively. During the school year, in my STATE STAR ASSESSMENT, I got placed in the 97th percentile for ELA, and after the end of year STATE MILESTONES TESTING, I got placed in the 98th percentile. I offer tutoring to help younger students build confidence and improve their skills, and I keep my rates affordable: $10–$15 per hour, or $5–$7 for a 30-minute session for younger kids with shorter attention spans. I tutor not only to help others succeed but also to strengthen my college application, as I aim for my dream college. With the right tools and support, I believe every student can achieve their goals—and I’d love to help you do the same!

I have always loved helping others, I am always helping my friends with their homework and some of them say that I helped them understand more than the teacher! My passion for teaching others and for ELA itself is what sets me apart from others, and I teach for an affordable cost! I teach 12 and under, and a typical lesson would be constructed like this: Teach, Practice, Homework assigned, Homework checking. I give homework at the end of each class, and parents are required to send their students syllabus and the topic I will be teaching in the class ahead of time. If a student needs extra help, I'll gladly schedule extra classes with them, their success matters most.
