I am a high schooler who will graduate in May 2023 with 12 college credits (U.S. History, Composition, and Finance). I scored a 34 in Reading and a 30 in English on the ACT.

About Casey
I am currently a high school senior who has taken AP, honors, and dual credit coursework over the past four years. I have been accepted into university to study classical language and literature in the fall of 2023, which was my first choice major. However, I haven’t always been so lucky as to get great grades and be in exclusively advanced classes. In middle school and the beginning of high school, I made very moderate grades (including several C’s and D’s each year). This wasn’t because of my intelligence, but rather a lack of adequate study practices and trouble retaining information. I have also been diagnosed with autism and ADHD, which have given me a deeper understanding of what I struggle with and why. I have a particular interest in assisting neurodivergent individuals with their education because I know that the overall school system in America is not optimal for us. Overcoming my struggles relating to autism and ADHD have encouraged me to teach others how to better understand class work and find successful ways to study.

I will work diligently to provide a study environment that will work for each individual student and help them learn. I will adapt what you need to learn to fit into your schedule and give you the best results. Previously, I experienced struggle with focusing and studying in my classes. I will apply my own methods to your lessons that helped me raise my grades from B’s to A’s, C’s to A’s, and even D’s to A’s! I look forward to making education a less stressful and more beneficial experience for anyone who wants to improve their grades, test scores, or study methods.
