My passion for creating meaningful and engaging educational opportunities for learners of all skill levels and multicultural backgrounds has enhanced my explanatory, classroom management, problem solving and language coaching capabilities. I enjoy working with experts in a field with a keen attention to details, positive attitude, and able to operate independently as well as part of a team. I truly believe that treating each student with respect, care, and understanding, and interacting with them as professionals, both inside and outside the classroom is an integral part of my teaching approach.
In my role as an IELTS instructor, I have developed learners’ reading and comprehension skills, speaking and listening abilities, spelling and writing through direct instruction, encouraging participation/conversation and guided practice. I was also able to showcase my analytical, leadership and organisational abilities as a course facilitator by designing and assisting in individualized programs, created by thorough assessments to target the needs of each learner. I have always displayed my careful approach to teaching four language skills by applying blending learning (using technologies), concrete comprehension and various exam teaching strategies. As a result, 80% of my students achieved their desired exams scores and were able to pursue their further educational/professional goals.
