Tamilla is quite simply an outstanding violin tutor. My 11 year old son who has high functioning Autism has been inspired and motivated by her teaching as a beginner on the violin. She keeps a careful focus on the foundational physical training of posture and holding both violin and bow whilst making learning exciting and encouraging, including training on musicality and enjoying the sound of the instrument with each lesson carefully paced to match his progress. She pays close attention to his stamina too, giving brief movement breaks and demonstrations to enable him to stay engaged, with clear exercises and activities to work on each week. It is rare to find such an experienced professional musician and educator who brings such passion and precision to a new player. As a music educator myself I highly recommend.
