About Lana
I am currently in my last year of high school. I have obtained awards in both English and French for the past four years of my high school experience. In addition, I received a perfect 400 on my Ontario Literacy Test, which proves that I am both a legitimate and valid candidate for teaching the basic concepts for the English language. I currently have a 95% overall average, and I hold the award for the highest English and French mark in my grade. I strive for academic excellence and hope to pass on my ambitions to other students.

Although I tend to prefer a traditional and structured form of teaching, my methods are very flexible and open to modification. I enjoy teaching concepts in a step-by-step process that allows students to follow a simple and innovative outline. However, by closely observing my classmates and teachers, I realize that each student has a unique way of grasping a new concept. The languages aren’t as conformist as subjects such as math or science, therefore there’s a variety of fun and adaptive ways that the English language can be taught. Being a high school student has offered me the advantage of having been exposed to the newest and most modern teaching models.
