About Makena
Hello! My name is Makena! I am currently a sophomore in high school who loves to draw, and paint abstract art! I love to interact with and teach children! I create a safe and loving environment for aspiring artists who love to draw, but just can’t find their confidence. I’m not only teaching, but I’m mentoring. I will teach valuable skills and roll with the punches that face me! Whatever you or your child is struggling with, I will make sure that I can, and will help!

hello! My name is Makena! I am a student and an artist of over 8 years! And let me tell you: if I had the art lessons that I’m providing at the age of your child, I would have found my confidence within my art sooner than trying to find it on my own. Being an artist when you’re young can be difficult, and not allowing yourself to be taught will never help you progress. Those words were said by my first art Teacher, as she explained that your art; can, and will be perfect once you learn your style! So let me be the starting push to help your child flourish!
