I am a motivated, hard-working, and community-driven student at the University of South Carolina with a strong academic foundation in the International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement programs. An experienced student-athlete with proven leadership, customer service, and management skills. I am actively engaged in service and campus involvement, including mentoring others and participating in organizations that strengthen communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities. My approach focuses on clarity, structure, and academic precision. Rather than simply correcting mistakes, I help students understand why changes are made so they can improve their writing independently over time. I work closely with each text to correct grammar, improve sentence flow, tone, and academic style, strengthen argumentation, ensure consistency, clarity, and logical progression in order to adapt writing to the required academic level and discipline. I use in-text comments and targeted explanations, highlighting recurring issues and offering concrete strategies to avoid them in future work. A typical lesson or revision session includes initial review of the assignment brief, grading criteria, and writing guidelines, detailed proofreading focusing on language accuracy and readability, structural and stylistic revision, improving clarity, transitions, and argument strength, margin comments and explanations to explain key corrections and suggest improvements, feedback summary, outlining strengths, common issues, and clear next steps. If requested, we can also schedule a follow-up session to review revisions together and address questions.
