About Chiara
I am a student studying Politics and International Relations at SOAS University of London which is ranked 5th in the UK and 18th in the World for Politics (2020 QS World University Rankings for Politics). I have been tutoring two students and now I am on this platform would love to extend my student network and am confident I can help more young people achieve their potential in their studies as well as becoming inspired in the subject.
At GCSE I gained 6 A*’s 4’As and a B and at A-level, I gained A*, A A grades. At A-level, I studied History, English Language and Theatre Studies as well as gaining an EPQ in a Politics based piece. My University Degree also includes a Global History module which contributes to a substantial amount of the final grade.
I am very passionate about my studies; the humanity subjects have always been my strong suit as I am very creative and inspired by the arts as well as my love for Politics and History. My strength lies in my ability to maintain a good quality of life and participate in a range of extra-curriculum activities alongside my studies such as drama and dancing. Since I have left Sixth Form, I have managed to get an agent this year for acting so am also a very creative person, I find that my insight into plays and texts extends my academic ability as well as my confidence to teach in a clear and passionate way.

I have always known the importance of studies as my main priority at school and have discovered the most effective ways of ‘working smart’ in order to achieve excellent grades and feel prepared and comfortable when facing exams and assessments.
I structure my lessons individually to each student as I believe everyone works so differently, I believe communication is key and will constantly engage with what the student is struggling with and will go into depth with this until they feel more comfortable.
I believe in the importance of further reading, watching useful documentaries and films and will bring a range of learning material to ensure that their tutoring is engaging and that they are inspired to learn in a way which will motivate them beyond the classroom and in their free time.
