About Kiera
I am a passionate and dedicated tutor with a passion for education and history and I have a strong commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
I have experience of supporting SEND pupils with ADHD and Autism, and I have ADHD myself so I am happy to make any adjustments to the coaching session based on individual needs.
History is a subject I genuinely enjoy, and I take pride in trying to make the sessions engaging, accessible and meaningful for all learners.
Whilst I specialised in the Witch Craze, Nazi Germany and the English Revolution, I have a broad knowledge of other key topics such as the Russian Revolution and Persecution throughout history.
My aim is to build confidence, improve understanding, and support students in achieving strong academic results.

My lessons are structured and tailored to the need of each individual student, whether they are studying Primary, GCSE or A-level History.
I focus on building a strong understanding of key historical content and the essential skills needed to succeed in exams, such as essay writing, source analysis and critical thinking.
Lesson length is dependent on the need of the pupil, with an hour being the standard but I am flexible for longer or shorter sessions.
I am a qualified teacher, and whilst I was qualified in Primary Education, I have a great understanding of the expectations and needs for exams. I have also achieved a First Class degree in History, with my dissertation also receiving a first class.
I am also able to support preparation for university for anyone who needs support with structuring essays to achieve a good grade as the jump from A-level to degree is large.
