About Alex
I am a recent graduate of Royal Holloway, University of London where I received a high 2:1 in BA Modern and Contemporary History. I have experience in various roles associated with education and young people. Currently, I am progressing towards becoming a qualified teacher of History and English. My degree has encouraged and developed my proficiency in communicating new and exciting ideas, skills which I have applied in private classes with children aged nine upwards. I also offer tuition in English, Maths and RE; I attained high grades in these subjects at an A-Level standard.

My experience as a Volunteer at the Imperial War Museum London and annual summer school Pastoral Assistant has taught me the importance of a fun and engaging approach to teaching. Therefore, I aim to ensure that each class is as enjoyable as possible. I also take into account the tutee's preferred learning style, their current level of ability, and their specific aims.
