About Thomas
Hi, my name is Thomas Boys and I'm a third year undergraduate history student at Queen Mary University. I have been playing guitar since I was 5. It's been a life long passion of mine. I was born and raised in France and I am completely bilingual. I taught guitar throughout highschool. I used to perform a lot but with Covid I struggled to get back into it. I really enjoy teaching and find it a fulfilling pastime.

- My approach is feedback based, tailored to the student needs and personal objectives
- Chord learning: detailed diagrams and chord options based on songs that the student is interested in
- Useful practice for playing with other musicians or solo performances
- Music theory will obviously have its place within the lesson plan however it won't be the main focus. Theory can be quite tedious, especially in the early stages so it would be mentioned as necessary to underline key concepts of guitar playing.
- A variety of musical styles are on offer
- A lesson plan will always be available unless the student has different needs
- Lessons can also be in French
