About Simrah
Hi! I am a History undergraduate student starting September 2026 with a passion for helping students build confidence in their learning. I teach AQA A-Level in both History (Revolution and dictatorship and Stuart Britain topics) and Sociology as well as GCSE History. I enjoy making topics easier to break them down into more manageable chunks. I also create educational study content on TikTok, helping students online all over. I believe every student learns differently and I believe learning should be supportive rather than overwhelming. I especially enjoy helping students gain confidence in their abilities and reach their potential through personal guidance and encouragement.

My lessons are personalised to each student’s learning styles. I like to begin with exam questions or a short assessment to understand a student’s current approach, strengths and areas that may need more support. I also ask students what they find most challenging, whether it is remembering content, essay structure, exam techniques, or understanding key concepts. From there, I tailor lessons to focus on those areas while improving confidence and understanding. As a future History undergraduate student teaching GCSE and A-Level History as well as A-Level Sociology, I understand the importance of not only learning content but also developing strong exam skills and techniques. I aim to create an inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace, including adapting lessons for different learning needs where appropriate.
