About Reeja
Dear Students, My name is Reeja Gomez, and I am your mathematics teacher. I hold degrees in B.Sc., LL.B., and B.Ed. with a specialization in Mathematics, and I bring with me over 15 years of teaching experience — 11 years in India and 4 years in the UAE. I have always believed that learning mathematics is not just about numbers and formulas, but about learning how to think clearly, solve problems, and approach life with logic and confidence. I am here not just to teach you math, but to help you discover its power and usefulness in your daily lives. I truly enjoy sharing knowledge, and nothing brings me more joy than seeing a student understand something new or overcome a challenge. Together, we’ll make this learning journey meaningful, enjoyable, and full of growth.

One of the first steps in teaching mathematics effectively is understanding the learners. Every student has a different level of understanding and a unique learning style. A good teacher begins by assessing the prior knowledge of students and identifying their strengths and weaknesses. This helps in setting clear and realistic learning objectives that guide the teaching process.
Active participation is another important element of effective math teaching. Teachers should create opportunities for students to engage in discussions, ask questions, and work in groups. Collaborative learning encourages peer support and fosters a deeper understanding of the subject. Math games and puzzles can also make learning more interactive and enjoyable.
