About Carla
Hello! My name is Carla, and I’m passionate about helping young learners grow both academically and personally. I currently work as an Assistant at a British curriculum school, where I support students in Grades 2 and 3. I’m also studying Clinical Psychology, which gives me valuable insight into how children think, feel, and learn. I chose to teach because I truly enjoy seeing the moment a student understands something they once struggled with. I believe every child learns differently, and my goal is to create a safe, engaging, and supportive space where they can thrive. With experience, patience, and a positive attitude, I’m here to help your child build confidence and succeed at their own pace.

I take a personalized, student-centered approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to fit the child’s learning style and needs. My sessions are interactive and supportive, using visuals, real-life examples, and positive reinforcement to build confidence and understanding. Lessons typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour.
I currently work as an Assistant at a British curriculum school with students in Grades 2 and 3, and I’m also studying Clinical Psychology. I tutor primary students (ages 6–10), especially those needing extra support in English, Math, or general study skills.
