I hold 2 degrees in Dramatic Arts, currently working on my Masters. I specialise in choreography, physical movement, improvisational theatre and live performance. Relaxed teaching style.

About Yolanda
I am very passionate about Dramatic Arts and teaching young students about the subjects. I believe this subject should be accessible to everyone as it instills confidence and helps improve communication.
Having obtained my Honours degree in Drama from Rhodes University and been in several plays including two that were part of the Makhanda National Arts Festival and won 3 awards. I believe I have grown in this subject and would like to share my experience and knowledge with my students. I am a cheerful person, confident, competent and dedicated to my work as a performer and teacher.

I set up a lesson plan for my students I introduce them to the work and we venture through it. I make sure to leave time for revision for the work done yesterday in the beginning for the lesson just to recap and continue building with no confusion.
I also leave about 10mins at the end of the lesson for anything feedback, questions or queries my students might have.
I prefer teaching in English but I do also take lessons in isiXhosa.
