About Shuchen
I am a dynamic and highly proficient MFL (Modern Foreign Language) Mandarin Teacher with over 10 years’ experience delivering language, art and design teaching to students across multiple ages range from Nursery to Key Stage 4. I am now looking for the next challenge in my career where I can continue to use my language expertise and the role within your organisation really excites me and is exactly what I am looking for. With my skills and experience I believe I would thrive within your organisation and be able to make a real difference.
During my time as a teacher, I have worked with students of mixed abilities and am able to adapt my teaching style and methods to accommodate different learning styles and requirements. I develop and deliver engaging lessons designed to empower students to interact in a positive and productive way. I utilise multiple techniques and methodologies to aid understanding and overall knowledge retention to support student examination achievements.
I have worked as a Mandarin teacher and Student Liaison Manager at an Independent College where I am teaching GCSE and A-Level students while supporting all Chinese speaking students and acting as a liaison between the college, students, and parents. I am also providing document translation services and have in the past worked as a face-to-face translator.
I currently teaching Mandarin in a Private school, a Chinese community center In London, and working as a supply teacher in the Local school.
I feel that my skills and experience are aligned with the role within your organisation. As an individual I am driven, ambitious and thrive in a challenging multifaceted environment. I am used to working as part of a cohesive team as well as independently and have excellent multi-tasking and time management skills. I am adaptable, resilient and have a methodical and analytical approach where I ensure accuracy while delivering exceptional results.

I hold UK teacher Qualification and I have over 10 years of teaching MFL experience.
I use varieties of online software and textbooks to meet students' requirements.
My methodology is flexible, it is dependent on the individual students' needs.
