I believe in creating lessons that are centered around the unique interests and strengths of each child, making learning both enjoyable and meaningful for kids aged 5-12. By using interactive PowerPoint presentations, I bring lessons to life with engaging visuals, story starters, word games, and fun prompts that inspire creativity in writing. My teaching is guided by the Australian Curriculum, ensuring that students not only develop strong literacy skills but also explore important perspectives, like those of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. Each lesson includes hands-on activities like brainstorming, drafting, and revising, along with opportunities to improve reading comprehension and critical thinking. With a Master’s in Early Childhood and Education and plenty of hands-on teaching experience, I focus on making learning inclusive and adaptable so that every child feels supported and confident in their abilities.
