About Elian
Hi, I’m a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. I’m passionate about helping students build vocal confidence and overcome performance anxiety so they can truly connect with the songs they sing. My teaching covers a variety of styles, including Pop, Indie, R&B, and Contemporary Worship, tailored to each student’s unique voice and goals. I focus on breath control, expressive phrasing, vocal health, and live performance coaching to ensure my students develop a strong and flexible voice. Whether you’re a shy beginner, a teen performer, or an aspiring recording artist, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I believe that singing is not just about hitting notes—it’s about expressing yourself and telling your story through music. My singing lessons for Orchestra Members and Crossover Artists focus on building strong music literacy and sight-singing skills. For Orchestra Members, reading notation accurately is essential, so we start with clear exercises in note recognition and rhythm reading. Crossover Artists benefit from learning to blend styles while strengthening interval training and harmony building. Both personas improve steadily through regular practice that connects their ear, mind, and voice. We use sight-singing apps to help internalise melodies and rhythm trainers to develop timing and precision. Notation tools support visual learning and reinforce music theory concepts. Through these methods, Orchestra Members become more confident in following complex scores, while Crossover Artists gain flexibility in moving between genres with ease. Rhythm exercises enhance their ability to stay in sync with other musicians. Harmony building deepens their understanding of musical layers and collaboration. I keep lessons encouraging and accessible, breaking down challenging skills into manageable steps. Consistent practice helps turn skills into habits, making sight-singing feel natural. Over time, students develop a stronger connection between what they see, hear, and sing. This foundation empowers them to perform confidently in any setting.
