About Nico
My name is Nicolas Rios and I attend the University of North Carolina. I graduated high school with top marks in the International Baccalaureate program and achieved a top score on my SAT. Outside of quantifiable academics, I was the debate team captain and act as the Vice-President of the Student Council. I am an Honors student and a Dean's List student at UNC. Through the years, I have undergone a huge evolution in my own speaking and writing skills, and hope to help other students do the same.

I act as a writing coach for students looking to step up their writing skills. Together, we will workshop essays and writing assignments to make sure the student's ideas are fully expressed through their work. I have a fresh mind when it comes to the way teachers grade and look at writing assignments, and will teach my students how to maximize their academic potential.
Additionally, I am a native Spanish speaker and can offer Spanish lessons as well as Spanish writing coaching. For younger ages, I can provide general tutoring and homework support for all subjects.
