About Ally
Hey! I’m Ally, a high school student from Vaughan with a strong academic record and a real passion for helping younger students feel more confident in math. I know what it’s like to sit in class and feel stuck, so I always try to explain things in a way that actually clicks. I’ve worked with students from Grade 1 to 9 and I always try to keep things calm, clear, and low-pressure. My goal is to help students feel comfortable asking questions, even if they think it’s a “silly” one, because that’s usually where real understanding starts. I’m patient, organized, and easy to talk to, and I make sure my lessons match the Ontario curriculum while also meeting the student where they’re at. I’m not here to just hand out answers—I want to help students get it for themselves.

A high school student who offers math tutoring for students in Grades 1 to 9. I’ve always done well in school, and I really enjoy helping others understand math in a way that makes sense to them.
When I teach, I focus on breaking things down step by step and explaining them clearly. I know that everyone learns differently, so I change the way I teach depending on what works best for each student—whether that’s using examples, visuals, or lots of practice.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review, then I teach the main topic, and we go through some practice questions together. At the end, the student tries a few on their own so I can see how they’re doing. I’m always happy to go back and explain anything that’s still confusing.
What makes me different is that I’m friendly, patient, and I understand what it’s like to be a student right now. I try to make learning less stressful and more enjoyable, while still helping students improve and feel confident.
My lessons are great for students who need help with homework, want to prepare for tests, or just want to get better at math. I teach all levels from Grade 1 to 9, and I follow the Ontario curriculum.
