About Sean
I am a Computational Mathematics student currently in the last year of my degree at the University of Waterloo. From a young age I have been passionate about learning and the process of developing understanding both efficiently and to deeply the subject at hand. I am an easy going and sociable person who enjoys helping people achieve their academic goals.
Had a 95%+ admissions average and recipient of UWaterloo President's Scholarship of Distinction.

I believe in a student-teacher guided approach to learning, meaning that it is imperative for me to let the student student try to figure out a problem and if needed provide guide rails but not outright solutions. This often leads to a student developing a deeper understanding of the material as-well as them remembering for much longer time. A typical plan will begin with the student listing problem areas, followed by my explanation with various examples and open ended questions to have the student approach a topic from multiple viewpoints.
I offer classes for middle school to highschool students.
