About Mariah
Mariah Henry, born and raised in Houston, Texas, is a graduate from the University of Houston where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance after training in various styles of dance throughout her youth in the Houston dance community. Upon founding her non-profit performance dance company, Deeper Than Dance (DTD), Mariah has created choreographic works performed at the Houston House of Blues as well as created choreography for various dance film projects. Mariah is currently continuing to expand her work in dance on film, grow DTD, and teach dance classes at studios and schools in Houston and the greater Houston community.

My lessons are for anyone from beginner to professional dancers! I first make sure to take the time to ask about your particular dance goals so that each class is tailored just for your needs and desires. I will begin every class with a thorough warm up, introduce key technique we will be working on, move into a combination in the pertinent class style, and end with a cool down!
