About Daisy
I am an ICF trained coach, where I specialise in supporting anxious teenagers with low confidence, as I strongly believe that a lack of confidence is one of the biggest contributors to low academic achievement or students not achieving their potential. I'm also a qualified English and Drama secondary school teacher, with a year's experience in inner-London schools, praised for quickly establishing rapport. Over three academic years of tutoring, I've consistently helped students foster a notable boost in their confidence. My tutoring ad is available if you're interested in combining coaching with tutoring, something I would recommend for a holistic approach to education. Outside of teaching, I manage a thriving online international writing community with over 75 writers. This reflects my passion for creative writing and commitment to nurturing the next generation of writers. I am trained by the Educational Coaching Academy, a company that specialises in training student coaches. I specialise in developing confidence in students who are struggling at school, whether that be academically or socially, so they can meet their full potential. I am an empathetic individual who is passionate about creating a safe space for young people, where we can develop rapport and I can become a "heart with ears" for them. My coaching sessions are dependent on what the client is looking to talk about. They will open with setting an agenda / plan for the session, followed by questioning around the topic area to provide the young person with a deeper understanding of their own thoughts and feelings. The session will end by looking back at the agenda and goal setting. Unlike counselling or mentoring, coaching is client-led and is a really great chance for a young person to learn more about themselves and how to be their own source of accountability. I often combine my coaching with my tutoring practice, as a fully qualified English tutor. Please see my profile for my tutoring ad if you're interested in those services too.

Details
I coach on Mondays through Thursdays and on Sundays. My cancellation policy allows free cancellations up to 24 hours before the class, with a 100% charge for cancellations within 24 hours and missed sessions. I strive to provide at least 24 hours' notice if I need to cancel, with no charge to you. I prefer working in a structured "time slot" format, finding a mutually convenient time on a weekly basis. While there's some flexibility, I believe this structure is beneficial for students. Booking sessions in blocks also contributes to consistency. Acceptance of a lesson implies agreement with these terms, and I'm always available to address any questions or concerns you may have. Please note that this pricing is an introductory offer for the first five students.
