About Bhoomika

Hi, I’m Bhoomika, a software engineer and a Master's student and Research Associate at IIIT Hyderabad. I’ve been working with Python for over 3 years, in industry, research and national-level competitions.

Education and achievements:

Master’s student and Research Associate at Precog Lab, IIIT Hyderabad
B.E. in Computer Engineering, University of Mumbai, CGPA 9.5/10
Government merit scholarship every year of my degree
1st place in the AI/ML track at the Microsoft Coherence 1.0 Hackathon
Grand Finalist at Smart India Hackathon 2024, Top 5 out of 500 teams across India
1 year as an Associate Software Engineer at Scogo Networks, building and deploying AI-based systems in Python

What I can help you learn:

Python, from absolute basics to advanced
Object-Oriented Programming
Data Structures and Algorithms
Java and JavaScript
Web and backend development (HTML, CSS, Flask, FastAPI)
Databases (SQL, MongoDB)
AI and Machine Learning with Python
School and college coursework, assignments, projects and exam preparation

My teaching experience:
I’ve been tutoring students for 5 years, starting in college, and explaining ideas is something I really enjoy. I use real-world problems to teach, because a concept you can connect to something real stays with you.

AI is changing how software gets built, and the students who do well are the ones with strong fundamentals. I make sure my students understand the basics properly, so they can use AI tools with confidence and aren’t dependent on them.

Hello and welcome!

Every student learns differently, so I don’t teach everyone the same way. In our first class, I’ll find out where you are, what you already know and where you get stuck. Then we fill those gaps first and build up from there at your pace.

If coding has ever felt confusing, don’t worry. We start from the basics, and I explain each concept with a real-world example so you know where and why you’d actually use it.

Most of the class is hands-on. We’ll build small projects together, and you’ll get a short assignment after every class. At the start of the next session, we’ll go over it and clear any doubts.

This way you keep practicing and remember what you learn, instead of forgetting it a week later.

I genuinely care about my students’ progress. Whether your goal is better marks, a strong project or the confidence to code on your own, I’ll work with you until you get there.
