I would first focus on explaining the mathematical concepts on any given topic and then switch to the actual problem-solving routines so that students can feel a lot more comfortable and realize what exactly they are doing when it comes to solving the problems. They are free and welcome to ask me any doubts during the sessions; in fact, I would encourage them to ask more doubts/questions. My teachings would be via a Pen Tab and I pull in relevant examples of the topic being discussed, by self and also make references from the internet, make diagrams and illustrations, supported by 3D models (where required) etc. I would care for them by being friendly and supportive in the best possible way so that they are able to meet their learning outcomes.
