About SANDHYA
I am Sandhya, a graduate in Physics from IIT Mandi. I am about to join for PhD in solid state physics at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany. I am passionate about science and technology-related subjects and teaching those to the younger generations always gave me pleasure. From my teaching experience, the educational environment has a huge role in shadowing the students' capabilities. With proper recognition of their talents and encouragement to follow their passion in the subject, it's possible to make more confident learners. My aim is to use my interpersonal skills combined with teaching skills to bring more confidence in the students to approach the subjects.

The following are the steps I used to take to ensure better learning experience for my students:
1. The initial classes will be to know the interests and overall stand of the student in the subject and learning the subject.
2. Rapport building is important. Within first week, student should be able to share his/her/their opinions related to the subject learning, without any hesitation.
3. Making sure the student understand the concept clearly is the main goal. By encouraging the students to attempt the topic objectives in different modes of tests, it will be ensured.
My goal is not only to teach a subject but also to provide the confidence the student needed to crack the concepts. I am skilled to understand the students inhibitions in learning a particular topic, which always helped me to give them what they wanted to shine in the subject.

Sandhya has been teaching computer science (C++ programming and database management) to my cousin for the last year. He was in 11th standard NIOS and was challenged by autistic and ADHD traits.
