About Dean
I started off in children's entertainment but have now moved back my first love of art. I have always written and illustrated my own children's books as a hobby and now I'm breaking into the world of publishing. Studying the MA at Hertfordshire University has given me the confidence in my work and I'm now pushing by books and portfolio to publishers and clients

I can teach basic design skills, colour theory, shading, character work, and composition. I work extensively in Photoshop and Procreate and can teach techniques with these programmes. I have also illustrated in traditional media, (watercolour, ink, acrylic) so can advise on certain techniques using these products.
