About Eleanor

Music theory and ear training are integrated seamlessly into the curriculum to support well-rounded musicianship. I believe creativity is vital, so I incorporate improvisation and composition exercises that empower students to explore their individual musical ideas.
Consistent practice habits and effective goal-setting are essential topics we address regularly, helping students maintain motivation and develop confidence. I utilize technology such as recording devices, metronome apps, and digital sheet music to enhance learning and self-assessment. A memorable teaching moment was witnessing a young student overcome initial nervousness to perform a complex piece flawlessly at a recital, showcasing both technical mastery and emotional depth.
