About Milan
I am an enthusiastic and hard-working incoming Foundation Year Doctor in the NHS with a genuine interest for combining the art of teaching with a career in medicine. I enjoy conducting lessons for younger students and collaborating with them to ensure they achieve their academic goals.
These past few years have been extremely beneficial as I was able to understand which style of teaching suits myself and most importantly, my students through weekly OSCE and OSPE teaching sessions for younger year medical students to help them prepare for pivotal written and practical exams.

Lessons are typically 1 hour in duration and are interactive with an emphasis placed on the evidence based method of active recall. The sessions comprise of working through practice exam questions where weak points are identified and amended in a collaborative method which has proven to be beneficial.
I have had over 5 years of tutoring experience at GCSE, A-level and University (Medicine). Through this experience, I have been fortunate enough to develop my teaching style and adapt to match a variety of learning styles to ensure the overall benefit of my students.
Completing 3 separate placements within the NHS alongside mentoring and tutoring my A-Level Biology student as he progressed with his medical school application this past year highlights my time management capabilities as well as desire to assist academic juniors to succeed. Regular sessions for 2 years assisted my previous student in achieving good A Level grades and as a result, getting accepted into Medical School in the UK.
