About Alex
Hi, I'm Alex Vazquez. I'm a bilingual (English/Spanish), multi-genre composer, producer, artist and audio engineer with 25 years of hands-on experience developing music and working closely with local independent artists. Whether you want to master Ableton Live, construct radio-ready beats, or learn how to record, mix, and master your own tracks from a home studio, I tailor my lessons to give you commercial results without major-label budgets.
At the age of 15, I taught myself how to use FL Studio and began to produce and rap with local underground artists in Southern California. I kept refining my sound and technical knowledge while studying electrical engineering, computer science, and music at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
In the process of building a home studio in 2012, I met legendary producer/guitarist Bill Pettaway, Timbaland's best friend and close collaborator. For two intensive years, I interned directly with Bill and Timbaland's camp, learning deeply about audio synthesis, professional tracking, acoustic recording, pristine mixing, and the reality of the music industry.
Regardless of your current musical level, I can help you elevate your knowledge, skill, sound, and creative boundaries. My past students describe me as patient, highly detail-oriented, and natural at creating a relaxed, pressure-free learning environment that encourages curiosity and questions.

Minutes 1–10: Goal Alignment & Setup Audit: We’ll discuss your current setup, your musical influences, and identify the #1 bottleneck holding your music back right now.
Minutes 10–25: Live Track & Mix Breakdown: We will pull up your project file. I will diagnose any issues with your drum programming, audio synthesis, 808 frequency conflicts, or arrangement, giving you 2 to 3 elite workflow adjustments you can implement immediately.
Minutes 25–30: The Release Roadmap: We will lay out a structured game plan tailored to your specific project goals so you know exactly what steps are required to turn your raw ideas into polished, radio-ready releases.
