About Maria
My name is Maria and I graduated from the Lisbon Superior School of Music, in the transverse flute variant. I am currently completing the second year of the masters degree in Music Teaching at the University of Évora. I have been teaching flute lessons for about 4 years and I am familiar with official music education, since I worked for 2 years in a conservatory, as a substitute teacher for flute and as a teacher of musical education support up to 5th grade. I am available to teach flute and musical training classes or just to clear up any doubts you may have about a subject.

I like to adopt innovative teaching methodologies that include new technologies to meet the students learning needs. In addition to the basic methodologies of the instrument, I also intend to work on strategies for musical memorization, stimulation of focus and attention and efficient organization of daily study. The transverse flute classes are aimed at all types of ages and levels and the musical training classes (theory and musical reading) up to the 5th grade level. All classes can be given in an online format.
