About Beth
I am a dedicated professional freelance ballet dancer and teacher with a passion for nurturing talent and sharing the artistry of ballet with students of all ages. My diverse experience encompasses performing in classical and contemporary ballet productions, as well as instructing students at various skill levels.
Teaching Experience:
As a member of the esteemed teaching faculty at The School of Ballet Theatre UK, I have had the privilege of instructing students across all age groups. My responsibilities included delivering comprehensive classes in classical ballet technique, pointe work, as well as providing coaching and choreographic guidance. Additionally, I have conducted specialized classes tailored to adult learners and young students aged 5 and above, fostering their love for ballet while honing their skills.
Professional Training and Career Highlights:
My journey in the world of ballet began with rigorous professional training at The Central School of Ballet, where I obtained my degree in professional dance and performance. Further enhancing my skills, I pursued advanced studies at the postgraduate program at Northern Ballet before embarking on an enriching six-year tenure with Ballet Cymru.
During my tenure with Ballet Cymru, I had the privilege of portraying iconic roles such as Giselle, Juliet, and Cinderella, showcasing my versatility and artistry on stage. Additionally, I danced in many contemporary productions, collaborating with renowned artists such as Mara Galeazzi and Marcus Willis in productions like 'Shadow Aspect' and 'Inherit Multiplicity'.
My repertoire includes a diverse range of classical and contemporary works, allowing me to offer a well-rounded perspective to my students as both a performer and educator.
