We were lucky enough to be introduced to Felicity when our son was ready to give up on foreign languages. He is dyslexic, so languages were tricky and the school approach wasn't working. And then along came Felicity, who we employed to see if a period of one on one tuition could help. She completely turned things around from him failing dismally and all the emotions that go with that, to being able to keep up and now looking at taking GCSE Spanish. Something no-one thought was possible except Felicity.

What makes the difference is she is creative and notices how pupils learn. And then restructures the learning around what works for them. Looking at ways to engage and capture attention. She always went the extra mile and was so effective the school asked to be put in touch with her and she ended up advising them on how to teach dyslexic children foreign languages. I love that she always goes beyond expectations and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Felicity is a star.

Felicity is wonderful! She works miracles. She is both hilarious person and a wonderful teacher and there has never been a dull moment in our lessons! She saved me and my French GCSE and I learnt so much, so quickly, and without even realising it, she transformed my French abilities in a very short space of time (provided that you work equally as hard as she does) She also makes great puns too!

Felicity hugely helped my son with his French Common Entrance in 4 months. She hugely improved his written and spoken French and his comprehension.
His accent which had been fine became impeccable.
Felicity was able to pin point his weaknesses and improve them hugely, giving him confidence and excellent study techniques.

Felicity taught my daughter Jessica Spanish after she had failed her mock GCSE exam.

Felicity taught our son (15) French for 2 months in the run up to GCSE Mocks & for GCSE assessments, as he was loosing confidence in the oral work.

She quickly restored his confidence with 1-1 speaking practice. Each time she came she had a clearly structured lesson prepared dealing with topics from the GCSE syllabus and left revision notes as a reminder.

You are a fantastic teacher and I know that they both love having your support. It is a treat to find someone who combines being lovely and patient with being firm and organised.

Felicity joins my Year 11 bottom set every week and supports identified students, in class on the tasks set. More recently she has adopted the C/D borderline group to work with each lesson. The students love working with her and have welcomed her support from the first moment she walked into the room. They are quite a shy group who lack confidence and she has managed to bring out the drive and motivation in them to work hard and achieve. Even at the end of her first lesson, the boys she worked with held back at the end to say thank you and how much they'd really appreciated her support.

Felicity's background in drama means that she has a very strong presence in the classroom as well as imaginative and fun ways of teaching new areas of language. She has a very positive and motivating personality and has an outstanding level of French language. She is utterly professional, reliable and communicates throughout the week with me to see what she more can do. She'd make an outstanding teacher and her work with us makes a huge difference.
