About Henry
As an international educational consultant and qualified engineer, I have dedicated over a quarter of a century to guiding high-achieving students toward academic excellence in international environments. My career has been consolidated within the International Baccalaureate (IB) ecosystem, specializing in optimizing performance for Higher Level (HL) technical subjects. After more than a quarter of a century preparing students for the International Baccalaureate, I've learned that success in Higher Level Mathematics depends on understanding how the examiner thinks. My work in the virtual classroom goes far beyond answering questions; I teach students to structure their analytical thinking from an engineering perspective. It's important to note that, as this is a premium international consulting service, both the classes and all direct communication with families (messages, reports, and coordination) are conducted exclusively in English.
I design the sessions based on the deconstruction of real exams. Instead of simply looking for the correct answer, we analyze step by step why a specific method is applied and how to translate it onto paper to meet the International Baccalaureate's strict marking criteria. The higher level demands absolute mastery of tools like the graphing calculator and impeccable time management under pressure—aspects we work on systematically from day one, flexibly adapting to either the Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation track. I maintain a direct and transparent communication channel with families to coordinate progress. My methodology provides a rigorous structure and a proven roadmap to achieving the maximum grade of 7, always under the clear premise that the actual result is the fruit of the student's daily effort and commitment.
