About Hallam
My name is Hallam, and I am a doctoral researcher specialising in international law, space law and cybersecurity. I hold an LLM in International Law, Security and Strategic Studies with Distinction and currently serve as an acting Space Law Honours Course Coordinator and law essay marker at the University of Aberdeen.
My academic work is complemented by professional experience in technology risk and cybersecurity, as well as extensive leadership, coaching and public-speaking experience. I am approachable, patient and committed to explaining complex legal ideas clearly. My name is Hallam, and I offer personalised lessons in public international law, space law, cyber law and related legal subjects. As an international law PhD researcher, law essay marker and acting university course coordinator, I understand how legal work is taught and assessed.
My lessons typically last 60 minutes and are tailored to each student’s goals. Using case studies, guided discussion and practical exercises, I help students understand difficult legal principles, analyse authorities, structure persuasive arguments and improve their academic writing and referencing. Rather than simply providing answers, I teach students a clear method they can apply independently in seminars, essays and examinations.
Lessons are suitable for A-level students, undergraduates and postgraduate students, including those studying law, international relations, security studies or related disciplines.
