About Francisco
I am an International Medical Graduate. I received my medical degree from the University of Antioquia in Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia this year (2020). I am currently located in the United States in Massachusetts and am currently taking the USMLE Steps in order to match into Residency (medical specialty) in the United States. I took and passed USMLE Step 1 (covers knowledge of all basic medical subjects) and am currently preparing to take USMLE Step 2 (covers basic clinical knowledge). I am proficient in both English and Spanish and would feel comfortable teaching in either language.

I would like to give lessons to any college pre-med students perhaps those who are looking to take the MCAT. I am familiar with tutoring medical students that were semesters below mine. My approach as a tutor is to identify the critical areas that my student needs help with and make sure that they understand the key concepts of the subject we are reviewing. I am comfortable with using diagrams and other examples in order to best convey the required message.
