My approach as a tutor
My teaching approach is student-centered, structured, and results-driven. I focus on building deep conceptual understanding before moving to exam application. I simplify complex Physics and Chemistry ideas using real-world examples, guided questioning, and step-by-step problem solving. I also integrate metacognitive strategies, helping students reflect on how they learn, identify gaps, and develop independent study habits.
Teaching method and techniques
I use a blend of explanation, interactive questioning, and practice. Lessons include concept breakdowns, visual representations, and targeted exercises. I emphasize past paper practice, exam techniques, and common mistake analysis to improve performance efficiently.
A typical lesson
A lesson usually begins with a quick review of prior knowledge, followed by introducing or clarifying key concepts. We then work through guided examples together before moving into independent practice. Each session ends with exam-style questions and feedback, along with clear next steps.
What sets me apart
With 16 years of international teaching experience (IB, IGCSE, A-Level), I understand curriculum expectations and assessment standards deeply. I combine strong subject expertise with proven strategies that consistently improve student outcomes.
Who my lessons are for
My lessons are ideal for middle and high school students, especially those studying IB, IGCSE, or A-Level Physics and Chemistry, as well as Science, whether they need support, revision, or top-grade preparation.
