About Mai
Having been an English learner myself, I understand the struggle of learning a new language from getting the correct pronunciation to learning new vocabulary everyday. However, there is nothing more rewarding than finally being able speak and communicate your ideas fluently (and of course, being able to watch Hollywood movies without subtitles!). I may not have been an English teacher for a long time, but I have spent 2/3 of my life learning, speaking and understanding English. And I am still learning, just like you are! I believe that my experience and exposure with the language will help you learn English faster. But most importantly, I want to inspire you, to make you see that learning a new language is fun :)

My lessons are usually 1 hour and 30 minutes long, for 3 days per week. I like to spend 20 minutes going over theories and spend the rest of the lesson practicing and doing exercises. The key to learning a new language is practice, practice, practice! Of course, the duration can varies between lessons and I will take into account each individual's needs. If a student's main goal is to communicate efficiently, I will reduce the amount of grammar and writing sections and spend the majority of the time practice speaking, if that's what the student wants and needs!
I have had experience teaching business English and conversational English online for 1 year. The class consists of 25-35 years old working professionals.
